Here we are in Ottawa, Marcel's home city, in front of the Canadian Parliament buildings. We don't particularly like hot weather, but we chose June 21st to make it easier for friends with children in school.

Oh yes... whenever we go to Canada to visit Marcel's family, Gloria wonders what the hell he was thinking when he moved to Italy!? But actually, in winter Italy is slightly more comfortable!

No romantic details here... do we look like a romantic couple?! Oooops, yes, here maybe we do... but, honestly, we really had to browse through our entire photo archive to find some "appropriate" shots!

We met in 2001, when Marcel had a computer store in Paganico, Italy. He sold me a broken computer although he claims, that... "no, it was my colleague who sold Gloria a broken computer. I fixed it.". Yes, sure, whatever.

Six years later we are still together, and we have been living together since 2004.

We are always back and forth between Pisa (where Gloria works) and Civitella Marittima (her home village in Tuscany, in Maremma, and the place we can call home... even if we only get to spend a couple of days a week there).

We have an amazing dog, Candy, our sweet flat coated retriever.
